BOATING TIPS
Wear your life jacket. Statistics show 75 percent of those who drowned in a boating accident would have lived had they worn their life jackets

Children 12 and under must wear a life jacket while the boat is in operation. However, it is recommended that everyone wear a life jacket

Keep 150 feet away from other boats, shore, water recreationists, fishermen. This rule also applies to personal watercraft (Jet Ski-type watercraft). A good rule of thumb: If you can read the bow numbers of another boat, you are too close.
